A little about us!
Shay and Jaelyn Moraga are mother-daughter yogis
About Shay
Shay Moraga is a mobile yoga instructor, entrepreneur, community leader and mom. But on February 11, 2016 her world changed drastically. Shay was diagnosed with a very aggressive Triple Negative form of breast cancer. She set her sights on a new goal: becoming a cancer survivor.
As a yoga teacher, Shay was in tune with listening to her body. She noticed an itch that would not go away, followed by a tiny lump in a self-examination. Shortly after her annual exam, she knew something was not right. She became her own best advocate and called her doctor. A mammogram, ultrasound and ultimately, a guided biopsy, revealed a large, fast-growing vascular mass. It was determined to be malignant, and then began the fight of her life. She completely committed to a long year of treatments that tested her strength, but never her faith. Joyfully, Shay celebrates year two of successful remission on December 1, 2018.
Shay’s journey has changed her more than she could have ever imagined. She stepped down from day to day duties in her very successful property management company. Ever the entrepreneur, Shay had co-founded that company while still in college. Aiming to decrease stress in her life, Shay decided to follow a new passion – yoga. This was followed by other projects focused on wellness, spiritual growth and cancer support.

About Jaelyn
Jaelyn Moraga, aka Miss Jae, is one of the youngest yoga teachers in the country. And why not? She has been doing yoga all her life. When her mom was pregnant with her, they went to prenatal yoga classes. Shortly after her birth they would attend mommy and me classes and beyond. Jaelyn always followed her mom and her mom’s friends to class. At age 9 she started asking to be a certified young yogini. Finally, after 5 years of asking her parents, her mom said yes, and found a studio to certify her with the yoga alliance 200hr. certification. In February 2017 just short of her 13th birthday she completed her training in Power – Vinyasa Yoga. She brings a balance of hard core power and gentle layered themes to all her classes.
